PISCATAWAY, N.J. (May 27, 2021) – A school-record 194 Rutgers student-athletes were recognized by the Big Ten as Spring 2021 Academic All-Conference on Thursday to elevate the Scarlet Knights' 2020-21 total to a record-setting 376 honorees, after 59 and 123 were selected in the winter and fall, respectively. Among the spring honorees is the schools' first ever six-time recipient in Adam Charalambides (men's lacrosse), six four-time selections, 32 three-time honorees and 65 repeat selections.
 
Charalambides, a 2021 All-Big Ten selection for men's lacrosse majoring in urban planning & policy development, earned academic all-conference accolades for the sixth consecutive year. Kathleen Butler (rowing), Jaci Cochrane (tennis) Andrew Comito (men's track & field), Anyssa Iliopoulos (softball), Kieran Mullins (men's lacrosse) and Rachel Usen (rowing) earned recognition for the fourth time in their respective careers.
 
Comito, Usen, Barbara Benda (rowing), Gabrielle Callaway (softball), Kathryn Campbell (women's track & field), Sophia Catuogno (rowing), Grace Lewis (rowing), Kyle Muller (baseball), and Madison Sieloff (rowing) produced perfect 4.0 GPAs in 2020-21.
 
To be eligible for Academic All-Big Ten selection, students-athletes must have been enrolled full-time at the institution for a minimum of 12 months and carry a cumulative grade-point average of 3.0 or higher.
