Prior to Rutgers: Played four seasons of varsity baseball at Steinert High School … named captain as a senior and earned Steinert Baseball MVP ... also the recipient of the  Nick Gessner Scholarship ... finished fourth in school history with 23 wins, recording a 1.77 career ERA and 186 strikeouts ... named all-county and all-area three times ... a two-time Carpenter Cup participant ... named to NJ Underclass and Senior Game ... went 5-1 with a 2.84 ERA and 46 strikeouts as a junior … named Hamilton Post 31 Pitcher of the Year in the summer … posted a 8-1 record with a 1.82 ERA as a sophomore with 60 strikeouts over 57 innings … named Steinert Pitcher of the Year and honorable mention all-state by MSG Varsity … also played football all four years, earning three varsity letters … passed for over 1,400 yards and 12 touchdowns as the starting quarterback senior year ... earned all-county accolades on the gridiron … a member of the Ski Club … spent time volunteering at the Trenton Soup Kitchen and for the local kindergarten safety town program.

I chose my major because: I wanted to be a part of sports, either as a player or in management.
Favorite place to hang out on campus: RAC
The person I most admire is: My mother because she is resilient and gets things done when she sets her mind to it. She was tough enough to win her battle against cancer, which shows how strong she is. Through all of it she kept a positive attitude and stayed strong for our family.
If I wasn’t playing baseball, I’d be: Hunting or traveling.
Favorite professional athlete: Mike Trout

Person who had greatest influence on my athletics career: My dad
I started playing my sport because: I enjoyed the challenge of the game and the memories it creates.
I chose Rutgers because: It allows me to compete at an elite level both academically and athletically, while being able to stay close to home.

What would you like to say to the R Fund donors who have provided for your scholarship and/or facility resources? I would like to thank them all for their generous donations because the tools they provide us help to keep us both competitive on and off the field.
How has Rutgers and donor support changed your life? It has allowed me the opportunity to grow as person and gain valuable life lessons both on and off the field.
