Baseball in the Pros Update

PISCATAWAY, N.J. – With the professional baseball season in full swing, Rutgers baseball has 15 alumni in MLB organizations and has seen a pair of Scarlet Knights make their MLB debuts in 2026.
Brian Fitzpatrick (Brewers) and Josh Kuroda-Grauer (Athletics) both received MLB call-ups and both made strong first impressions at the highest level. Fitzpatrick made his MLB debut on April 29 for the Brewers, pitching 1.1 scoreless innings. He appeared in five games and posted a 1.35 ERA in 6.2 innings before suffering a season-ending injury. Kuroda-Grauer made his debut on June 29 with the Athletics, going 3-for-4 with a double and an RBI single in his first career at-bat. He is currently hitting .417 with a 1.019 OPS, a home run, four RBIs and eight runs scored.
The list also include a pair of new draftees in Peyton Bonds and Zack Konstantinovsky, who were selected in July's MLB Draft and have reported to rookie complexes in Arizona and Florida.
