2022 (Redshirt Freshman)
Spent season recovering from Tommy John surgery ... did not play.
Prior to Rutgers: Earned GSAC All-Academic Honors, Academic All-Region 19 and served as a team captain at County College of Morris … started high school career at Jserra High School in Southern California with promotion to varsity as a sophomore … moved to New Jersey for junior year … pitched to a 1.83 ERA with 43 strikeouts over 35 innings as a senior ... played travel baseball for Diamond Jacks Baseball (2018-19) and Locked In Baseball (2019-20).
Personal: Son of Kelly and Scott Tornberg … has two younger sisters, Alex and Sam, and a younger brother, Aidan … intends to major in sport management.
