Men's Lacrosse: Annual NYC Career Development Day

NEW YORK CITY - Rutgers men's lacrosse took advantage of its proximity to New York City with the program's annual preseason Career Development trip. The Scarlet Knights traveled as a team into the largest city in the nation to meet with a number of the program's alumni to network and discuss potential future career paths.
Under head coach Brian Brecht, the trip has been an annual staple, providing the student-athletes with some insight into the preparation necessary in pursuing potential career paths. The trip allows for the team to meet and network with a number of different Rutgers lacrosse alumni that work in NYC across a variety of different careers.
On this year's trip, the team had six featured speakers:
"The big takeaway for me is how greatful we are to have this kind of support from so many alumni," team captain Ryan Gallagher said. "Not just at games but also to see them outside that setting at an event like this. I'm looking forward to taking advantage of this towards my future career. "
