Rutgers Lineup
Last Time Out
The Scarlet Knights are coming off a team victory at the Rocket Classic two weeks ago that also saw Rikke Nordvik pick up the individual win. RU won the event in wire-to-wire fashion, holding leads after every round in the event and ultimately winning by 13 strokes over second-place Akron.
Nordvik's win was the first of her career and the second individual win for Rutgers in the fall after Leigha Devine earned co-medalist honores at the Badger Invitational in the first event of the season. Both golfers were named Big Ten Golfer of the Week for their performances.
Lineup Notes
Leigha Devine has led the Scarlet Knights in two of their three events this fall behind a 72.89 scoring average. She finished in 2nd place behind teammate Rikke Nordvik in the Rocket Classic in the team's last event. Devine set a tournament record at the Badger Invitational with a 54-hole score of 209, breaking the previous record by four strokes. It was her first-ever win for Rutgers.
Nicole Ewing was one stroke off a career-best round with a 74 in the final round of the Golfweek Red Sky Classic. Ewing boasts a pair of top-10 finishes in her career and has played in 14 tournaments as a Scarlet Knight.
Rikke Nordvik won her first-career title at the Rocket Classic this fall and earned Big Ten Co-Women's Golfer of the Week for her performance. She tied with Devine at T-48th to lead RU individually in the Red Sky Classic. Nordvik has eclipsed the 20-tournament mark with 22 career tournaments under her belt.
Lucrezia Rossettin is averaging 77.78 this fall with her best performance coming at the Red Sky Classic behind rounds of 72-75-78
