"While this wasn't the finish we were looking for to end our fall season, it was an important experience for our team," head coach Kari Williams said. "To compete alongside some of the best teams in the country and see how they operate was good for us to understand what it will take to get to the next level. Each player heads into this offseason with specific goals and takeaways after our fall campaign, and I know we will be ready to compete again in the spring."
Individually, all five RU golfers either maintained or improved on their round two scores. Leigha Devine shot a 2-over 73 for the third straight round to finish the tournament t-40th.
Rikke Nordvik shot a 3-over 74 to close out her weekend to finish t-67. Nicole Ewing fired a 227 (75-76-76) to take hom a t-71 finish. After a first-round 82, Maeve Rossi rebounded strong with a 75 in round two and 73 in round three.
Lucrezia Rossettin battled back after an opening-round 84, improving each day with an 81 in the second round and a 77 in the third round.
With the fall season completed, the Scarlet Knights shift their focus to the spring season. The team will look to continue building momentum on a successful fall season that saw two individual victories and a team title in four events.
