CHAMPAIGN, ILL. – In a Top 25 battle on the road, No. 24 Rutgers recorded a team total of 195.475 at No. 20 Illinois. The Scarlet Knights produced a total of 10 Top 3 finishes in the Big Ten dual.
Junior
Hannah Joyner led the way with four Top 3 event finishes on the night. She placed first on floor (9.925), third on vault (9.850), third on bars (9.825) and third in the all-around (38.725).
Sophomore
Calah Newman had a career night, finishing second in the all-around with a career-high 39.100 and second on beam with a 9.850. Graduate
Belle Huang tied for second on beam (9.850) and floor (9.900).
Sophomore
Avery Balser placed second on bars, posting a score of 9.850. Classmate
Emily Leese tied for third on vault, recording a mark of 9.850 as well.
Rutgers matched its second-highest team event score of the season on floor, as the Scarlet Knights' total of 49.250 ranks fifth on the all-time program charts. Joyner led the way in first with a 9.925 followed by Huang in a tie for second with a 9.900.
Sophomore
Emily Wood posted her career high on floor for the second straight meet, scoring a 9.875. Balser added a season-high 9.775, while
Calah Newman posted a 9.775 as well.

Rutgers returns home for Senior Knight on Friday, March 4. The Scarlet Knights will host Brown, Southern Connecticut State and NC State at Jersey Mike's Arena.
