Tennis Set Back at Minnesota

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – Rutgers tennis dropped a 7-0 final score at No. 54 Minnesota on Friday afternoon. Over the last two weeks, the Scarlet Knights have competed in six road contests across five different states.
Rutgers' third doubles pairing of Kristiana Zahare and Daira Cardenas were up 4-1 in their set when the Golden Gophers suspended play by winning the doubles point with victories at first and second doubles.
The Scarlet Knights conclude the lengthy road trip and return home for a four straight matches, starting on Saturday, April 9 against Nebraska at 11 a.m. at the East Brunswick Raquet Club.
