Tennis Returns Home to Host Nebraska & Iowa

Scarlet Knights host Big Ten action at the East Brunswick Racquet Club
PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Rutgers tennis returns from a six-match road stint to host Nebraska on Sat., April 9 at 11 a.m. and Iowa on Sun., April 10 at 11 a.m. at the East Brunswick Racquet Club.
The Scarlet Knights have not played in New Jersey since March 4, spanning six matches in five different states. Rutgers dropped its match last time out at Minnesota on April 1.
Freshman Jackeline Lopez and sophomore Daira Cardenas lead the team with seven singles wins each this season. In doubles, senior Tess Fisher and freshman Minchae Kim pace the squad with six victories as a pair.
The weekend Big Ten slate is the first in four consecutive conference dual matches in New Jersey. RU hosts Purdue and Indiana on April 15 and 17, respectively, to close out the 2022 home schedule.
