After a historic week that saw him hit five home runs in a two-game span, Rutgers sophomore outfielder
Ryan Lasko has racked up four different National Player of the Week honors in addition to being named Big Ten Player of the Week.
On Monday, he was named one of the National Players of the Week by Collegiate Baseball.
Tuesday saw Lasko pick up three more honors, as D1 Baseball, Perfect Game and the NCBWA Dick Howser Trophy all named him National Player of the Week.
Finally, Lasko was named Big Ten Player of the Week on Wednesday. It is the
second time this season that Lasko has received the honor and he becomes the first Rutgers player to win the award twice since the Scarlet Knights' first season in the conference in 2015.
In Week 11, Lasko led Rutgers to a 4-0 record with a .667 AVG/.682 OBP/1.524 SLG%, 5 home runs, 3 doubles, 14 RBI and 9 runs scored. He also robbed a home run in Tuesday's game against Hofstra and made a diving play to record the final out of Sunday's series finale against Ohio State.
