PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Rutgers football's Oct. 7 matchup against Nebraska will be the "Blackout Game," presented by RWJBarnabas Health. The Scarlet Knights are set to suit up in all-black uniforms with black helmets for the 7 p.m. Friday kickoff at SHI Stadium. Fans are also encouraged to wear black, with special t-shirts now on sale through the Rutgers Team Shop. Students in attendance will receive the t-shirt for free.
Giveaways for the "Blackout Game" include black shakers and "Beat Nebraska" buttons. A special pregame light show and halftime performance by the Marching Scarlet Knights with fireworks recognizing 50 years of Title IX highlight the in-stadium presentations.

The annual Rutgers Parent Family Weekend will take place Oct. 7-9, presented by the Rutgers Division of Student Affairs. Click here for more information on discounted tickets, hospitality and tailgating options for the Friday night game
