Six from Women’s Golf Earn WGCA All-America Scholar Recognition

It marks the fourth WGCA All-America Scholar accolade of Rossi's career, while Devine, Hwang and Nordvik make their second consecutive appearance on the prestigious list. Ewing and Rossettin earn WGCA All-America Scholar laurels for the first time in their collegiate careers.
The criteria for selection to the All-American Scholar Team are some of the most stringent in all of college athletics. The minimum cumulative GPA is 3.50, while a recipient must have played in at least 50 percent of their team's rounds during the 2021-22 season. The WGCA, founded in 1983, is a non-profit organization representing women's collegiate golf coaches.
Under head coach Kari Williams' leadership, the Scarlet Knights have now accumulated 39 All-America Scholar awards since 2015. Seven Scarlet Knights – Devine, Ewing, Hwang, Nordvik, Rossi, Anna-Maria Diederichs and Annalie Swanepoel – earned 2022 Academic All-Big Ten recognition this past spring.
Rutgers wrapped up another successful season both on the links and in the classroom, as the Scarlet Knights set several program records during the 2021-22 scholastic campaign. The Scarlet Knights carded their lowest ever tournament round (nine under) at the Jackrabbit Invitational and produced individual wins over Indiana and Iowa at 2022 Big Ten Match Play to finish sixth in the conference event. RU's scoring average of 302.72 was the fourth lowest in school history, while Diederichs produced the first individual title for the program since 2019.
