Fourth-year senior from the Aloha State ... competed in the 2019 U.S. Women's Amateur, becoming the first Scarlet Knight to earn entry into the Championship since 2013 ... Two-time Big Ten Conference Distinguished Scholar with a perfect 4.0 grade point average in each of the past two scholastic years ... 2018-19 and 2017-18 Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) Division I All-America Scholar ... a 2016 Junior PGA Championship Qualifier (73-76).

SPRING 2021: 2021 Big Ten Distinguished Scholar & Academic All-Big Ten selection ... competed as an individual at Monmouth’s Hawk Spring Series, shooting 86 and tying for 10th (4/5).

SPRING 2020: 2020 Big Ten Distinguished Scholar with a perfect 4.0 GPA … 2020 Academic All-Big Ten selection.

FALL 2019:  Competed as an individual at the Nittany Lion Invitational and carded a 231 (77-78-76) to finish T-32 (9/21-22).

SPRING 2019: Totaled 166 at the Big Ten Championship (4/19-21) … finished 59th behind a 238 (73-78-87) at the Lady Buckeye Invitational (4/13-14) … tied for 41st with a 234 total (75-78-81) at Murray State’s Jan Weaver Invitational (4/5-6) … posted season low 227 (75-77-75) at the Juli Inkster Meadow Club Invitational (3/18-19) … tied for 26th shooting 75 (+3) at the weather-shortened River Landing Classic (3/4) … opened the season with 83-81-80 at the Reynolds Lake Oconee Invitational (2/16-17).

FALL 2018: Played in three tournaments this fall and averaged 81.33 over nine rounds … placed T-55th at the Lady Blue Hen Invitational (10/20-21) … finished 63rd (83-84-79) at the Edean Ihlanfeldt Invitational (10/9-10) … tied for 79th (80-84-79) at the Nittany Lion Invitational (9/22-23).

SPRING 2018: Averaged 80.36 over 14 rounds in five events … carded 247 (86-82-79) at the Big Ten Championship (4/20-22) … totaled 169 (86-83) in rain-shortened Lady Buckeye Invitational (4/14) … matched career-low single round (73) and tied for 33rd at Hawaii’s Dr. Donnis Thompson Invitational (3/13-14) … finished T-63rd (81-79-76) at UNCW’s River Landing Classic (3/5-6) … posted 236 (81-73-82) and tied for 59th at Louisville’s Moon Golf Invitational (2/19-20).

FALL 2017: Competed in four events for the Scarlet Knights ... averaged 77.83 over 12 rounds … tied for 20th (78-80-74) at Mercer’s Idle Hour Intercollegiate (10/30-31) … finished 49th (82-84-77) at Washington’s Edean Ihlanfeldt Invitational (10/10-11) … totaled a season low 222 (75-74-73) to tie for 15th at the Nittany Lion Invitational (9/23-24) … opened her collegiate career On the Banks tied for 24th (79-82-76) at the Rutgers Invitational (9/9-10).

SCHOLASTIC: A 2017 graduate of Kamehameha Schools Kapalma in Honolulu … was a four-year varsity letterwinner under head coach Wesley Wailehua … earned Intersholastic League of Honolulu (ILH) First Team honors as a junior and senior … had a 75.0 stroke average as a senior team captain, 74.0 as a junior, 75.0 as a sophomore and 76.0 as a freshman … garnered ILH second team honors as a sophomore and freshman … was a four-time Kamehameha Schools Warrior Golf MVP …  recognized on the principal’s list both semester as a senior and on the honor roll both semesters as a junior … placed 3rd in the 2017 Optimist International Qualifier and won the 2016 Barbers Point Invitational (73-75) … captured first place net champ flight and third in overall gross at the OCC Women’s Invitational (76-70) … also had top 10 finishes in the Optimist Invitational in 2015 and 2014.

The person I most admire is and why: My dad because he is the hardest working person I know. He taught me that I should always strive to be the best in whatever I do.
If I wasn’t playing golf, I’d be: Traveling or studying
Favorite professional athlete: Joanna Henry
Favorite professional sports team: Spain’s national soccer team
One word to describe myself on the course: Optimistic
One word to describe myself off the course: Dramatic
Few people know that: I am easily scared and very poorly coordinated
Person who had greatest influence on my athletics career: Julie Miyagi
I started playing golf because: My dad thought golf was fun
I chose Rutgers because: It had a good balance between athletics and academics. However, mainly because I look good in scarlet red.
Favorite cereal: Captain crunch (original and peanut butter)
The movie I have watched the most in my lifetime is: The Adventures of Shark Boy and Lava Girl
The best actress to play me in a movie is: Jason Momoa if he was a girl

What I would like to say to the R Fund donors who have provided for my scholarship and/or facility resources? Thank you so much for the endless generosity and support. Words cannot begin to describe how grateful we all are.
How has Rutgers and donor support changed my life? It has allowed me to move from Hawaii to the East Coast to experience things bigger than I could have ever imagined.
