PISCATAWAY, N.J. – With the most goals in a game since 2017, the Rutgers men's soccer team earned a dominant win over a dominant 5-1 win over UAlbany (1-3-2) on Tuesday night under the lights at Yurcak Field. RU stayed persistent coming out of halftime and it paid off, as Temple recorded back-to-back goals in the 58th and 60th minute to turn the tides and give his team the 2-1 lead. Pablo Avila and Myers each earned assists on the goals, respectively.
The scoring barrage continued as Myers added his own tally in the 73rd minute, this time on an assist from Temple. Just three minutes later, Maeland found the back of the net off another feed from Temple for his first goal of the season.
