REHOBOTH BEACH, Del.Ā āĀ Ā Rutgers women's golf will compete in its final event of the fall season this weekend at theĀ Lady Blue HenĀ Invitational, hosted by DelawareĀ atĀ Rehoboth Beach CountryĀ Club.Ā
The Scarlet Knights will get their first look at the course on Friday morning with theirĀ practice round,Ā before opening tournament play on SaturdayĀ morning.
RoundĀ one isĀ set for a 8:30Ā a.m. ET shotgun start on Saturday, with round two taking place right after. The third and final round will be a 9 a.m. ET shotgun start on SundayĀ morning.Ā
RU is back at the event for theĀ first time since 2019, when the team took 4th place.
Coming off their best result of the season in a 4th-place finish at the Marilynn Smith Sunflower Invitational, Rutgers will look to use the momentum to finish the fall slate on a high note. Rikke NordvikĀ shot a 1-under 71Ā in round twoĀ and a 3-over 219 for the tournament, finishingĀ in a tie for 7th for her first top-10 finish of the season. Lorena RossettinĀ finished one stroke off the top-10, highlighted by an even-par 70 in round two.Ā
