PISCATAWAY, N.J. - No. 7/8 Rutgers men's lacrosse hits the road for the first time this weekend. The Scarlet Knights will renew its rivalry with Army by traveling to West Point, N.Y. for a noon game.
The game will be live streamed on ESPN+. The broadcast will feature former Rutgers' faceoff specialist Alex Schoen as the game analyst.

No. 7/8 Rutgers enters the weekend at 2-0 following wins over Marist (20-8) and Stony Brook (11-7).
Brian Cameron has a hat trick in each game. He shares the team lead with six goals with
Dante Kulas, who has a team-high nine points. Midfielder
Jack Aimone has emerged with five tallies.
The Scarlet Knights have won 71.7% of faceoffs, third best nationally. RU has cleared successfully at a 92.5% rate. The team leads the Big Ten with 11 caused turnovers per game and scoring defense (7.5).
Brad Apgar was named Big Ten Defensive Player of the Week for the first time. He had a team-high three caused turnovers and two ground balls, holding his matchup scoreless in the win over Stony Brook.
With a victory, RU would improve to 3-0 to start to the season for the third straight season.
MILESTONE WATCH
Ethan Rall enters the game with 65 caused turnovers. That is third among RU players since the stat began being tracked in 2006. Two more CTs will tie him for second with Jacob Fradkin (2009-12).
ABOUT THE OPPONENT
The Black Knights went 12-4 last season, making it to the Patriot League Championship. Army was selected fourth in the Patriot League preseason poll. Junior midfielder Jacob Morin and sophomore defender AJ Pilate were selected to the Patriot League Preseason All-League Team. Army opened the season with a 10-8 loss to UMass. Reese Burek, the team's leading returning goal scorer with 29 goals, had a hat trick, while Morin, who had 27 goals in 2022, had two tallies.
