Field Hockey Earns 2023 National Academic Team Award

PISCATAWAY, N.J. - Rutgers field hockey earned an academic accolade, as the team was recognized with the NFHCA National Academic Team Award, which recognizes programs that earned a team grade-point average of 3.5 or higher during the fall semester of the 2022-2023 school year. Rutgers earned a 3.67 term GPA as a squad.
The Scarlet Knights have continually been recognized for their achievements in academic excellence. This month, 18 student-athletes earned the National Academic Squad award. Rachel Houston and Olivia Weir were named Scholars of Distinction, with a GPA above a 3.9.
Last semester, RU placed 17 onto the Dean's List. Every member of the team held a GPA of at least 3.0.
