Kahleah Copper Shines in Third WNBA All-Star Game

PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Rutgers women's basketball alum Kahleah Copper balled out in her third WNBA All-Star game which took place in Las Vegas, Nevada on Saturday, July 15. The Chicago Sky star forward played on Breanna Stewart's team, who defeated A'ja Wilson's team, 147-127.
 

The 2021 WNBA Champion and Finals MVP competed alongside fellow All-Stars such as Brittney Griner, Jewell Loyd, Nneka Ogwumike and Sabrina Ionescu.  
 


 

In 15 minutes on the court, Copper recorded 16 points, the most of all three of the All-Star game appearances, along with three rebounds. She was 7-of-12 from the field and cashed in on two 3-pointers.  
 


 

In 19 games this season, Copper is averaging 17.3 points, 4.8 rebounds and 1.9 assists. She is currently shooting 44.4 percent from the floor in addition to 41.9 percent from beyond the arc, to rank inside the league's top-20.  

Copper is currently in her eighth season in the W after being drafted by the Sky seventh overall on the 2016 WNBA Draft. She played "On The Banks" from 2012-2016 and remains fourth all-time on the Scarlet Knights all-time scoring list with 1,872 points.
