PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Rutgers football looks forward to hosting Fan Fest on Sunday, Aug. 20 on Busch Campus. The free event will take place from 5 to 7 p.m. in front of the Rodkin Academic Success Center (201 Fitch Road, Piscataway, NJ) with free parking available in the blue, yellow and scarlet lots.

Fans will have the opportunity to meet the team during the autograph session, presented by Knights of the Raritan. Pick up the official 2023 Rutgers football season poster and enjoy a taste of The Rutgers Boardwalk. New Jersey's best food trucks will be stationed with sandwiches, wings, ice cream and more, while free-to-play carnival games and inflatable obstacle courses are set to be in place. Be sure to check out the face painter and caricature artist, and capture all the memories of the day at the photo booth. Fan Fest will include fun for the whole family.

Afterwards, walk over to Yurcak Field to watch Rutgers women's soccer host Hofstra at 7 p.m. Admission is free.

Rutgers opens the season Sunday, Sept. 3 at SHI Stadium against Northwestern (noon, CBS), the first time beginning with a Big Ten opponent at home since joining the conference. That is part of three consecutive home games to start the year and seven overall in 2023. Season and individual game tickets are on sale.
