Four pairs of Scarlet Knights took the courts for RU this afternoon, all recording victories.
Nguyen and partner, senior
Amira Badawi, came out strong in their first competition of the Fall, cruising to a 6-1 win over the Bulldogs.
Jackie Lopez and
Daira Cardenas also found themselves defeating Yale by a score of 6-1.
The duo of senior
Tara Chilton and Gurevich were tested by the Bulldogs, but ultimately pulled out a 7-6 (7-3) win.
Karki and sophomore
Arina Valitova recorded a solid 6-4 victory.
Singles
Nguyen recorded the lone singles win for Rutgers on the day, with a 6-4, 6-4 victory over Yale's Orly Ogilvy to round out her solid start to her sophomore campaign.
