SEASIDE, Calif. – Rutgers women's golf wrapped up play on day one of the Molly Collegiate Invitational on Monday evening.
The Scarlet Knights sit in 9th place after the first two rounds of competition at the Bayonet Golf Course in California.
Cathi Graf and
Lorena Rossettin each had standout rounds for RU on day one. Graf shot a 2-under 70 in her opening round, her best round as a Scarlet Knight and one stroke off of her career-best score to par. Rossettin fired a 4-under 68 in round two – the lowest score by a freshman in program history – and leads Rutgers on the individual leaderboard at t-25. It was the second straight week Rossettin carded a round under par after she shot a 2-under 70 in the final round of last week's Badger Invitational.
