BEDMINSTER, N.J. – Freshman
Elizabeth Ryu from Rutgers women's golf carded a top-three result to close out the Lehigh Invitational on Sunday in Bedminster, New Jersey.
Ryu moved up two spots during the final round at Trump Bedminster, carding a one-over-par 73 to tie for third in the 93-player field. Ryu fired off birdies on holes three, four and eight to finish just one stroke behind co-champions Emma Tang (Navy) and Puneet Bajwa (Old Dominion), who each produced three-over-par 147's across two rounds.
Ryu contributed six birdies across her two rounds to highlight her impressive outing.
Two other Scarlet Knights competed as individuals over the weekend. Junior
Krystal Li tied for 43rd, while classmate
Emily James tied for 62nd. Li finished the weekend with three birdies, including two on Saturday.

Ryu carded a three-over-par 75 to finish within the top five after round one action, rolling in birdies on holes 14, 17 and 18. Ryu was six strokes back of Bajwa, who led the field with a three-under-par 69 after action on Saturday.
Li tied for 36th with her nine-over-par 81, highlighted by back-to-back birdies on holes eight and nine. James tied for 72nd to round out action for the Scarlet Knights on Saturday, who sent three student-athletes to compete as individuals.
