Women's Golf Set to Compete in Marilynn Smith Sunflower Invitational

MANHATTAN, Kan. – Rutgers women's golf is set for competition at the Marilynn Smith Sunflower Invitational, hosted by Kansas State at Colbert Hills Golf Club.
The Scarlet Knights will hit the links for a practice round on Sunday morning before kicking things off on Monday morning. Round one is set for a 9:39 a.m. ET shotgun start on Monday, with round two right after. The third and final round will be a 9:30 a.m. ET shotgun start on Tuesday morning.
This marks RU's first time at the event since 2019, when the team took 6th place. It will also mark the team's third event in as many weeks.
Rutgers most recently finished in 9th place at the Molly Collegiate Invitational, where three different Scarlet Knights had rounds under par. Cathi Graf shot a 2-under 70 in round one for her best round as a Scarlet Knight. Lorena Rossettin set a freshman record at RU with a 4-under 68 in round two, while Leigha Devine was able to close out the event with a 1-under 71.
