The Boilermakers scored twice in the first half in the 22nd and 29th minutes and held on for the shutout win despite Rutgers putting 10 shots on target, including six by
Riley Tiernan.

Rutgers returns home for its final two matches of the 2024 regular season, starting with a Sun., Oct. 20 date with Illinois at 1 p.m. at Yurcak Field.

- Redshirt freshman Brianna Azevedo earned her first collegiate start.
- Kassidy Banks was not available in the match due to injury. She had played every minute during the 2024 season before tonight.
- Rutgers is 7-0-1 all-time against Purdue since joining the conference in 2014 and 2-0-1 in West Lafayette.
