MIAMI, Fla. – The Rutgers women's swimming & diving team picked up 10 top three finishes, a pair of top 10 performances and four NCAA zone scores in diving in the Scarlet Knights' first official dual meet of the year against No. 24 Miami and SMU on Friday morning at Whitten Center Pool.
No. 24 Miami topped Rutgers, 194-84, while SMU edged out the Scarlet Knights, 148-134.

- Sophomore Sofia Bartoloni captured the top time in the 200 breast dropping 4.67 seconds off her previous best to capture the eighth fastest time in RU history in 2:15.10.
- Freshman Bailee Sturgill made her Scarlet Knights debut on the boards as the runner-up on 3M with the 10th highest score "On The Banks" and NCAA Zone score with a 319.05. Sturgill also picked up an NCAA Zone score on 1M as well.
- Also earning NCAA Zone scores were senior Holly Prasanto as runner-up on 1M and freshman Katerina Hoffman on 3M.
- Sophomore Elysha Pribadi totaled four top-three performances with runner-up finishes in the 100 and 200 breast and a third-place time in the 200 IM and with the 200 medley relay.
- Classmate Blanka Berecz was also a runner-up in the 200 fly.
- Sofia Bartoloni became the first Scarlet Knight of the season to capture a top 10 time and an individual event victory with her 200 breast swim (2:15.10). She topped her previous PR of 2:19.77 Â set in November of last season against Purdue & Oakland in the fourth meet of the 2023-24 campaign.
- Three of Elysha Pribadi's four top three finishes were in individual events including runner-up in the 100 breast (1:01.80) and finishing just behind Bartoloni in second place, trailing by .12 seconds, in the 200 breast (2:15.22). The Jakarta, Indonesia native also took third in the 200 IM (1:43.63).
- RU also had a second-place time from Blanka Berecz in the 200 fly (2:00.49).
- Molly Urkiel helped the Scarlet Knights go 1-2-3 in the 200 breast touching in third (2:18.30).
- Freshman Bailee Sturgill dove her way into the Scarlet Knight record books in her RU debut on 3M. The Nobelsville, Indiana product totaled 319.05 marking the 10th highest score at Rutgers with a runner-up performance. Fellow freshman Katerina Hoffman placed third with an NCAA Zone qualifying score of 300.76.
- On 1M, the Scarlet Knights also captured a pair of NCAA Zone qualifying scores. Second team all-american Holly Prasanto began her senior season with a second-place score of 291.55 while Sturgill took fourth with an NCAA Zone qualifying mark of 285.45.
