MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – Rutgers women's swimming kicked off the Minnesota Invitational at the Jean K. Freeman Center on Wednesday evening competing in the 200 medley and 800 free relays.

The 200 medley relay squad of
Martyna Piesko,
Sofia Bartoloni,
Cameron Kuriger and
Brooke Thompson landed in fifth place, clocking in at 1:42.21.
The 800 free relay team with
Shannon Meadway,
Molly Urkiel,
Blanka Berecz and Thompson finished in 7:22.14 to take sixth.
The Minnesota Invite continues on Thursday, December 5 with the 100 fly, 400 IM, 200 free, 100 breast, 100 back and 400 medley relay. Additionally, day one of the Rutgers Diving Invitational kicks off with women's 1M and men's 3M. Prelims begin at 10:30 a.m. with the top 12 divers advancing to finals at 4 p.m. at the Rutgers Aquatics Center.
