Softball Adds Kelsie Riggan To Recruitng Class

PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Rutgers softball head coach Kristen Bulter has announced the tenth member of the incoming Scarlet Knight class welcoming outfielder Kelsie Riggan "To The Banks" starting with the 2024-25 academic year.
 
Riggan joins the class of catcher/utility Allison Amadio (Galloway, N.J.), infielder Bailey Burtis (Friendswood, Texas), outfielder/utility Jayla Fuller (Conyers, Georgia), pitcher Ella Harrison (Clarence, N.Y.), first baseman/pitcher Kelsey Hoekstra (Overland Park, Kansas), catcher Jayden Hutchison, infielder Riley Hwang, (Aldie, Virginia), pitcher Dezaria Johnson (Covington, Georgia) and infielder Addie Osborne (Erie, Colorado) who were announced earlier.

  • Varsity weightlifter holding the school record for snatch and girls' school record for Olympic and Traditional
  • As a weightlifter, placed first in district and third in region (2023, 2022 & 2021)
  • Ran one season of track

  • Plans to major in exercise science
