PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Rutgers women's lacrosse opens its 2024 season against Manhattan on Saturday at SHI Stadium. First draw is set for 1 p.m. and will stream on Big Ten Plus.

Melissa Lehman, the Scarlet Knights host nine games during the 2024 campaign, including three in February and three against Big Ten Conference opponents. Admission and parking for all home games are free. Fans planning to park must register their vehicles with the University through
this link. Visitors only need to register their vehicle once for the entire season. Parking for 2024 home games is in the Scarlet Lot outside the West entrance of SHI Stadium.
- Playing one of the toughest schedules in the country last spring, Rutgers finished with eight victories and its third consecutive Big Ten Tournament Semifinal appearance in 2023.
- The Scarlet Knights picked up wins against three ranked opponents – No. 6 Stony Brook, No. 16 Johns Hopkins, and No. 19 Jacksonville.

- Four Scarlet Knights picked up all-conference laurels, with Spilis earning consensus All-America accolades as one of the country's best midfielders.
- Spilis is the program's all-time leader in goals scored with 192.
- Spilis ranks sixth all time in career points scored. Spilis needs five to pass Heather Jones for fifth and is 65 points away from surpassing current assistant coach Taralyn Naslonski (266) for the program record.
- Spilis ranks third all time in draw controls with 215 and needs 15 to pass Cathy Pecha for second all-time at Rutgers.
- Spilis needs 34 caused turnovers to become the third player in school history with 100 career caused turnovers.
- The Jaspers were picked eighth in the 2024 MAAC Women's Lacrosse Preseason Coaches' Poll after they finished last season with a 6-11 record and 2-6 mark in conference play.
- Defender Andrea Liotta earned preseason All-MAAC recognition by the conference's coaches. Liotta finished second in the MAAC with 4.63 draw controls per game and caused 21 turnovers a year ago.
- Julianna Iovine is Manhattan's returning leading scorer after she produced 42 points on 27 goals and 15 assists.
- The Jaspers are led by fifth-year head coach Jenna Dingler.
- Rutgers leads the all-time series with Manhattan, 7-0. The programs last met on March 15, 2017 – a 15-5 win for the Scarlet Knights in Piscataway.
- Rutgers competes in its first road game of the season when it faces Georgetown on Saturday, February 17 in Washington, D.C.
