PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Rutgers women's lacrosse (5-3, 0-2) closes its four-game homestand when it hosts No. 16 Yale (6-0) on Sunday, March 17 at SHI Stadium. First draw is set for noon and will broadcast on Big Ten Plus.
Admission and parking for all home games are free. Fans planning to park must register their vehicles with the University through
this link. Visitors only need to register their vehicle once for the entire season. Parking for 2024 home games is in the Scarlet Lot outside the West entrance of SHI Stadium.
Sunday is Youth Lacrosse Day, as the program will honor youth programs and players from throughout the area. Prior to the game, 'Kiss Me, I'm a Scarlet Knight' St. Patrick's Day buttons will be available while supplies last. There will also be a team autograph session after the game.
- Rutgers lost a tight 13-10 Big Ten Conference matchup with No. 6 Michigan, 13-10, on Thursday night at SHI Stadium.
- The Scarlet Knights scored the most goals against the undefeated Wolverines this season, but UM used a 16-10 advantage on the draw, 13 saves and a 6-0 scoring run in the second half to earn its ninth win of the season.
- Graduate student Cassidy Spilis produced a team-high four goals and eight draw controls, while sophomore Alexa Corbin added her first-career hat trick with three goals off the bench. Classmate Ava Chiarella posted two goals to help pace RU's offense.
- Cassidy Spilis leads the Big Ten in goals (35), goals per game (4.38) and ground balls per game (2.38). Spilis also ranks third in the conference in draw controls per game (5.88), fourth in points per game (4.75) and fifth in caused turnovers per game (1.50).
- At 240 career points, Spilis needs 27 to pass current volunteer assistant coachTaralyn Naslonski for the program record.
- Spilis has four or more goals six times this season, including a season-high six in RU's season opener against Manhattan.
- After missing her first two seasons due to injury, junior Victoria Goldrick has been a standout for the Scarlet Knights with 20 points on a team-high 15 assists and five goals in 2024. Her 12 assists are third in the Big Ten and 21st nationally.

- Yale features a balanced scoring attack led by Jenna Collignon (18 points), Fallon Vaughn (17 points) and Sky Carrasquilo (14 points). Collignon leads the team with 16 goals.
- Laura O'Conner is the primary goalkeeper with a 4-0 record, a 8.19 GAA and a .439 save percentage.
- Yale and Rutgers will meet for the first time since 2005, when the Scarlet Knights earned a 10-7 win on the road over the Bulldogs. This will be the 16th meeting all-time between the two schools, with Yale leading the series, 9-6.
