EAST BRUNSWICK, N.J. — Naomi Karki and
Amira Badawi earned their second-straight B1G doubles victory, as the Rutgers women's tennis team (10-6, 1-4 B1G) dropped a 4-0 decision to No. 2 Michigan (16-3, 4-0 B1G) on Sunday afternoon at East Brunswick Racquet Club.

Michigan picked up an early advantage in the doubles round, earning a 6-3 victory on the second court.

Karki and Badawi responded, though, recording their second B1G doubles win of the weekend. The duo downed the Wolverine's third pair, 6-3.

Yana Gurevich and
Mai Nguyen battled against the fourth-ranked doubles team in the country in Kari Miller and Jaedan Brown, but UM went on to clinch the doubles point with a 6-4 win on the first court.

Michigan used two straight-sets victories on courts No. 5 and No. 2 to push its lead out to 3-0 in the singles round. The Wolverines were able to clinch the match on the fourth court, winning 6-3, 6-2.

Multiple Scarlet Knights were in the midst of tight matches with the Wolverines at the conclusion of play.

After splitting the first two frames with her opponent, Karki was narrowly down in the third set against No. 68 Lily Jones, 1-2.

On court No. 3,
Mai Nguyen was on her way to forcing a third set with No. 19 Julia Fliegner. The sophomore held a 4-1 edge in the second frame when the Wolverine's clinched.
