JOHNS ISLAND, S.C. – Rutgers women's golf is set for its next event of the spring season – a return trip to the Briar's Creek Invitational in South Carolina.
Once again, RU will compete in a very strong field, with this year's event featuring six ranked programs and seven squads from the Big Ten.
In last year's Briar's Creek Invitational, the Scarlet Knights finished in a tie for 11th out of 16 teams and were led individually by
Nicole Ewing's t-32 finish.
RU is coming off a record-setting performance in their last tournament at the Westbrook Invitational. In the event, the Scarlet Knights posted a team score of 851 (287-283-281), which broke the program 54-hole record by 10 strokes.
Individually,
