- Rutgers lost a 13-12 overtime heartbreaker to No. 9 Johns Hopkins last Saturday at SHI Stadium. - Graduate student Cassidy Spilis stuffed the stat sheet with five goals, seven draw controls, four caused turnovers and two ground balls.
- With her five goals over the weekend, Spilis is just six points away from surpassing current assistant coach Taralyn Naslonski for the most points in program history at 267. Spilis is already the program's all-time goal scorer with 248 and is also second in career draw controls (284) and fourth in career caused turnovers (88) at Rutgers.
- With three games left in the regular season, Spilis ranks third in the country in goals (56) and fourth in goals per game (4.31). - Stony Brook leads the all-time series, 4-1, but Rutgers picked up its first win in the series last spring thanks to a 12-7 victory on April 12, 2023 at SHI Stadium. The schools have matched up in the Scarlet Knights last two NCAA Tournament appearances in 2021 and 2022 – both wins by the Seawolves at LaValle Stadium.
- Rutgers remains on the road when it faces Ohio State on Thursday, April 18 in Columbus. First draw is set for 6 p.m. ET and will stream on Big Ten Plus.
