PISCATAWAY, N.J. - Rutgers men's lacrosse midfielder
Shane Knobloch was tabbed as a First Team All-ECAC selection, the organization announced on Wednesday. Knobloch was placed on the All-ECAC list for third straight season.
Knobloch was previously named the nation's Midfielder of the Year, a First Team All-American by three publications and First Team All-Big Ten. The Moorestown, N.J. native scored 29 goals, leading the team, and placed second on the squad with 11 assists for 40 points. He scored multiple goals in 11 games with five hat tricks and had a team-high four man-up goals.
For his career, Knobloch played in 60 games 'On the Banks', scoring 98 goals and adding 49 assists for 147 collegiate points. Next up for Knobloch is professional lacrosse. He will begin PLL play this weekend when he makes his debut with the Carolina Chaos, who selected him fourth overall in the First Round of the PLL Draft.
