
Men's Soccer Drops Decision at No. 7 Ohio State

COLUMBUS, Ohio. – Rutgers men's soccer (3-5-1, 0-2 B1G) couldn't get past No. 7 Ohio State (7-0-1, 2-0 B1G) on Sunday night, falling 3-0.
The Buckeyes scored once in the first half and followed up with two second half goals to secure the victory.

Game Notes
- Ola Maeland paced the Scarlet Knights with four shots while Curt Calov led with three shots on goal.
- Ciaran Dalton made seven saves in net.
- Freshman Scott Godden earned his ninth consecutive start for the Scarlet Knights, the only rookie to start every game so far this season.
- Other rookies in Matty Lynch, Kristófer Arnarsson, Anthony Morano, Thomas Angelone and Dylan Carlson also got on the pitch.
Looking Ahead
After the two-game road trip, Rutgers will return to Yurcak to host No. 16 Michigan on Saturday, Sept. 28. The game will be on BTN and kickoff at 4 p.m.
The team will also celebrate Senior Day against the Wolverines.
