PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Rutgers men's soccer (8-2-2, 3-1-1 B1G) pulled out the 4-2 win over Wisconsin (4-6, 1-4 B1G) on Friday night to remain a perfect 6-0 at home. Four Scarlet Knights found the back of the net in the victory and goalkeeper Ciaran Dalton made four saves.
The contests started out even, with both teams generating chances on offense and taking three shots apiece. But Camron Boumsong struck first for RU with a bicycle kick goal in the 27th minute.

Wisconsin would again fight back with a tally to bring the deficit to one, this time in the 73rd minute. Following a back-and-forth ten-minute period that saw chances for each side, the Scarlet Knights were able to force a crucial turnover deep in the Badger end.
Dan Karsten was able to jar the ball loose just outside of the Wisconsin penalty area where he was taken down from behind resulting in a red card for the Badgers following a VAR review. Awarded a free kick in a dangerous area, Karsten put the game away for good after finding the back of the net with a left-footed strike that deflected off the Wisconsin wall of defenders.
