Ayden Smith (125) – produced individual titles to highlight action for the program at the Palestra.
With its 15 placewinners and 10 top-four finishers, RU produced 159 team points to finish ahead of Penn (140) and Lock Haven (103.5) for the team title.

Shane Cartagena-Walsh (184) and
Andrew Barbosa (165) won their third-place matches, while No. 19

Pinto faced No. 17 Jasiah Queen (Drexel) in his championship bout, using a rideout and escape in tiebreakers for his 3-2 decision. Olivieri also won in overtime, collecting a takedown and four back points on No. 27 Wyatt Henson (Lock Haven) for an 8-1 win in sudden victory. Smith used a first-period takedown en route to a 4-2 decision over No. 31 Davis Motyka (Penn).
After losses in their semifinal bouts, Barbosa and Cartagena-Walsh bounced back with wins in respective third-place matches. Barbosa delivered a 5-2 decision over Joseph Cangro (Harvard), while Cartagena-Walsh produced an eight-point third period for an 11-2 major decision over Luke Vanadla (Michigan State). Barbosa added a ranked win to his resume earlier in the tournament after he pinned No. 20 Ryan Burgos (Edinboro) in the quarterfinals.
Catka, Chapman and White all advanced to the semifinals on the front side of their brackets, with Catka bowing out of the tournament with a medical forfeit. Chapman and White both earned two wins to reach their respective semifinal matches against ranked opponents.
Rutgers competes against No. 10 NC State and Davidson on Sunday, Dec. 7 at the Journeymen Jostle in Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina. The Scarlet Knights return home Saturday, Dec. 16 to host No. 20 Oklahoma at Jersey Mike's Arena.
