ANNAPOLIS, Md. – Sophomore
Orian Gablan won the A final of the 500 free to highlight day one action at the 2025 ECAC Swimming & Diving Championship.
Gablan won the event with a new PR of 4:55.84, topping her previous best of 4:57.63 set at last year's Big Ten Championship.
Two Scarlet Knights reached the B final with sophomore
Ella Hall placing ninth overall in 5:01.90 and freshman
Ella Arbeiter taking 12
th in 5:08.60.
The 400 medley relay were .36 seconds off the lead in taking second behind host Navy. The quartet of
Natalie Schick,
Holland Spangler,
Viktoriia Kostromina and
Brooke Thompson combined for a time of 3:45.67.
Sophomore
Brooke Thompson raced in the A final of the 50 free, hitting the wall in sixth in 23.93.
