PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Three standouts from Rutgers women's lacrosse –
Emalie Clothier,
Lexie Coldiron and
Alexa Corbin – were named 2025 Big Ten Players to Watch, announced Wednesday by the conference.
The Scarlet Knights were also picked to finish seventh out of nine teams in the conference, as voted by the league's coaches.

A two-time team captain entering her final collegiate season, Clothier has appeared in 56 career games with 41 starts during her time 'On the Banks.' Last season, Clothier started all 18 games in the midfield, finishing with 15 ground balls, 12 caused turnovers and five draw controls along with four points on three assists and a goal. A standout in the classroom, Clothier is a two-time Academic All-Big Ten selection.
Coldiron joins the program after a standout career at Lafayette, where she was a two-time all-conference selections in cage for the Leopards. Coldiron appeared in 49 career games at Lafayette, tallying 484 saves in more than 2,700 minutes between the pipes. Last season, Coldiron produced 158 saves on 498 shots faced for a .472 save percentage, also cooping up 51 ground balls and causing 19 turnovers en route to second team all-league laurels.
Corbin enjoyed a breakout season last spring, finishing fifth on the team with 17 points on 13 goals and four assists in 15 appearances during the 2024 campaign. Corbin netted hat tricks in conference games against Michigan and Ohio State, and tallied four games with three or more points. A two-time Academic All-Big Ten selection, Corbin has appeared in 18 career games during her collegiate career.
