Led by Gabrielle Dildy's 9.900 on floor, Rutgers scored a 49.100 in the event and a 194.475 in a home quad meet at Jersey Mike's Arena last Sunday. Dildy scored Rutgers' first 9.9 of the season and tied her career best in the process on floor. The teamwide 49.100 in the event marked RU's second 49+ on floor this season, while Dildy claimed her third event crown of 2025 with the 9.9. It was Dildy's fifth career 9.9 and third on floor.

Rutgers gymnastics scored a 194.850 in the season opening American Gold Women's Collegiate Gymnastics Classic in California. The Scarlet Knights posted their highest season opening score since 2014 - a 195.075 in dual win against New Hampsire. Their 49.150 on beam marked the first time RU posted a 49+ on the apparatus in a season opener. The beam score was ranked No. 5 in the nation after opening week, and sits at No. 23 this week with an average of 48.904.

Entering the season with a Top 25 Recruiting Class ranking from College Gym News, the freshmen have made major impacts early in 2025. Delaney Adrian has completed three all-arounds with a high score of 38.950, while ranking first on the team in bars average with a 9.771 and second on beam with a 9.781 average. Keeley Smith is tied with Adrian as Rutgers' top bars worker with an average of 9.771. Around the gym, first-years Lisa Chevaire (vault), Reagan Schenkel (bars), and Donna Uhlenberg (floor) have consistently made the starting lineups.

Rutgers defeated Washington in a Big Ten dual meet, 194.550-194.050, on Saturday afternoon at Jersey Mike's Arena. The Scarlet Knights, at 9-1 on the season, are still on pace for their best start to a season since the 2014 team started 10-1. It marks Rutgers' first Big Ten victory since defeating Maryland on 195.550-194.925 on Jan. 22, 2022.
