ANNAPOLIS, Md. – Junior
Ellie Schinsky in the 100 fly and the 200 medley relay team each took home the top times on day two the ECAC Swimming & Diving Championship on Saturday at Lejeune Hall on the campus of Navy.
Schinsky topped the competition in the 100 fly with a first-place time of 54.21 and joined teammates senior
Natalie Schick, graduate student
Molly Urkiel and sophomore
Brooke Thompson in winning the 200 medley relay in 1:40.85.
The Scarlet Knights also had a pair of runners-up. Schick placed second in the 100 back in 54.50, while Urkiel clocked in at 1:00.65, a mere .09 seconds behind the Ivy League Champion from Harvard.
Sophomore
Ella Hall was also an A finalist in the 200 free, taking seventh in 1:53.33
Rutgers also had a pair of B finalists in the 100 fly and 100 breast. Junior
Viktoriia Kostromina was 10
th overall in the 100 fly in 55.87, while freshman
Holland Spangler took 11th overall, hitting the wall in 1:04.90.
