Scarlet Knights Land 53 on 2024-25 Winter Academic All-Big Ten

ROSEMONT, Ill. – Rutgers Athletics earned 53 selections to the winter academic all-Big Ten Listing. The 2024-25 Winter Academic All-Big Ten list was unveiled by the conference office Wednesday.
The number of honored Scarlet Knights matched last winter's 53 selections. Earlier this school year, Rutgers placed 135 student-athletes on the Fall Academic All-Big Ten team.
There are 19 student athletes that were repeat selections for Academic All-Conference with this release. That group was highlighted by five four-time selections: Chyna Cornwell (women's basketball), Emily Leese (gymnastics), Andrew Clark (wrestling), Al DeSantis (wrestling) and John Poznanski (wrestling). There were also 11 three-time selections: Awa Sidibe (women's basketball), Ella Aird (gymnastics), Jacqueline Manifold (gymnastics), Gianna Ortiz (gymnastics), Anna Pagliaro (gymnastics), Holly Prasanto (swimming and diving), Natalie Schick (swimming and diving), Sebastiano Nini (wrestling), John O'Donnell (wrestling), Joseph Oliveri (wrestling), Anthony White (wrestling). Overall, wrestling had nine repeat selections, gymnastics had six, and women's basketball and swimming and diving each had two.
To be eligible for Academic All-Big Ten selection, students must be on a varsity team (as verified by being on the official squad list as of March 1 for winter sports), have been enrolled full time at the institution for a minimum of 12 months and carry a cumulative grade-point average of 3.0 or higher.
