ANNAPOLIS, Md. – Rutgers had another ECAC Champion to close out the final day of competition at the 2025 ECAC Swimming & Diving Championships on Sunday as senior
Natalie Schick won the 100 back.
Schick was the top finisher in the 100 back in 2:00.14.
Rutgers also had two A finalists in the 200 fly, as well as an A finalist in the 200 breast.Â
Junior
Viktoriia Kostromina flew to a new PR and the ninth fastest time in Rutgers history in the 200 fly in 1:59.94 to place third. Kostromina bested her previous time of 2:00.12 from the home finale with Iowa & Nebraska. Junior
Ellie Schinsky, meanwhile, placed fifth in 2:00.74.Â
Freshman
Holland Spangler qualified for the A final in the 200 breast, coming in sixth with a time of 2:22.01.
The Scarlet Knights also had an additional record book entry in the 1650 free. Sophomore
Orian Gablan finished the mile in 16:49.08 to take third with the 10th fastest finish in RU history..
Sophomore
Brooke Thompson was also in the evening finals, racing the B final of the 100 free to tie for 10th in 52.05.
