EAST BRUNSWICK, N.J. – The Rutgers women's tennis team (7-6, 1-4 B1G) was defeated by the No. 46 Penn State Nittany Lions (12-3, 3-2 B1G), 4-1 Saturday afternoon.
Doubles

Mai Nguyen &
Naomi Karki gave RU the advantage with a 6-2 win.
The Nittany Lions then tied doubles play with a win on court 2, before winning the point on court 3.
Singles
Nguyen then got the Scarlet Knights on the board winning 6-3, 6-2 to tie the match at one all.
However PSU grabbed three straight singles wins on courts two, three and five to take the dual.

The Scarlet Knights will be back at it against the Ohio State Buckeyes tomorrow March 22 at 12 p.m. at the East Brunswick Racquet Club. After that, RU will continue conference play when they travel to take on the Minnesota Golden Gophers on Friday March 28 at 4 p.m. before traveling to Madison to battle the Wisconsin Badgers on Sunday March 30 at 11 a.m.
