The Four Things to Know...
Â
Rutgers scored a 195.875 at the Big Four Meet on Sunday at Ohio State, highlighted by Rachael Riley tying a program record and winning the event title on beam with a 9.950 and the beam team scoring the third-best total in program history with their 49.325. Riley's 9.950 was the highest beam score across all 12 Big Ten teams during Big Four weekend.
Rutgers recorded a season-high 196.275 at a high-scoring Big Ten dual meet at No. 7 Michigan State last Saturday, registering the sixth highest team score in program history. Gabrielle Dildy ended the meet with her first career 9.9 on beam, placing third in the event at the Big Ten dual against the No. 7 ranked Spartans. The Scarlet Knights scored season-high marks of 49.200 on floor and 49.050 on vault at the meet. The score marked RU's 10th 196+ since the beginning of the 2022 season.
Entering the season with a Top 25 Recruiting Class ranking from College Gym News, the freshmen have made major impacts early in 2025. Delaney Adrian has completed six all-arounds with a high score of 38.950, while ranking first on the team in bars average with a 9.792 and second on floor with a 9.762 average. Keeley Smith is second behind Adrian in bars with an average of 9.775. Around the gym, first-years Lisa Chevaire (vault and floor), Reagan Schenkel (bars), and Donna Uhlenberg (floor) have consistently made the starting lineups.
Led by Gabrielle Dildy's 9.900 on floor, Rutgers scored a 49.100 in the event and a 194.475 in a home quad meet at Jersey Mike's Arena on Feb. 2. Dildy scored Rutgers' first 9.9 of the season and tied her career best in the process on floor. The teamwide 49.100 in the event marked RU's second 49+ on floor this season, while Dildy claimed her third event crown of 2025 with the 9.9.
Dildy now has three 9.9's this season, totaling seven in her career (three on floor, two on vault, and two on beam).
