PISCATAWAY, N.J. — Rutgers women's basketball forward Destiny Adams has been named to the All-Metropolitan Basketball Writers Association First Team, following her historic season "On The Banks." Â
This marks the second All-MET award for Adams, as she was also named to the Third Team in 2024. Adams is the first Scarlet Knight to earn an All-MET First Team honor since Diamond Johnson and Arella Guirantes did it in 2021. Â
Adams was dominant on both ends of the floor for RU this season. She led her team and ranked sixth in the Big Ten with 17.9 points per game. She ended the season ranked fourth in the conference averaging 9.6 rebounds and is tied for first with 2.4 steals.
