Men's Golf Wraps Up Season at Big Ten Championship

BALTIMORE, Md. - The Rutgers men's golf program wrapped up the 2024-25 season at the Big Ten Championships in Baltimore, Maryland on Sunday.
The Scarlet Knights finished the event at the Baltimore Country Club with a team score of +46 for the weekend, placing 18th.
For RU, freshman Bennett Espenshade led the way, finishing 42nd overall with a score of +9. Espenshade went into Sunday at -1 in 15th place following strong performances on Friday and Saturday. Grad student and captain Noah Kumar finished 46th overall, one stroke behind Espenshade. Fellow captain Weston Jones finished 65th overall at +13.
The University of California Los Angeles men's golf team won its first Big Ten Conference title after posting a three-round score of 842 (+2). UCLA was followed by Illinois (843), Michigan State (854), Oregon (855) and Ohio State in fifth with a team score of 857.
