EAST HAMPTON, N.Y. ā The Rutgers men's golf team continues its fall slate this week at the 2026 Hamptons Intercollegiate, a 54-hole event at the historic Maidstone Club on Long Island's East End. Play begins Monday, Oct. 5, with 36 holes, and the final 18 holes are Tuesday, Oct. 6.
"We've had a strong start to the fall, starting with hosting Bayonne," said head coach Rob Shutte. "We feel we can compete with anyone, and our team chemistry has really stood out so far."
THE FIELD
The Scarlet Knights are one of 12 teams in the field: Duke, Florida, Florida State, Georgetown, Harvard, host Loyola Maryland, Ole Miss, Princeton, Utah, Wake Forest and Yale.
THE FORMAT
Each team will play five golfers and count its best four scores per round. Rutgers opens off the 10th tee Monday, with tee times from 8:35 to 9:15 a.m. ET, grouped alongside Princeton and Utah. Monday's first and second rounds are continuous play with the same pairings. Final-round pairings on Tuesday will be set by the standings.
LAST TIME OUT
