Women's Basketball Secures Junior Transfer Yacine N'Diaye

PISCATAWAY, N.J. — Rutgers women's basketball head coach Coquese Washington announced the third signee to the 2025-26 roster in 6-foot-4 junior Yacine N'Diaye from UNCG.

"Yacine is a tremendous addition to our Scarlet Knights family," Washington said. "She is an outstanding athlete whose best basketball is ahead of her. Yacine will provide size, depth and versatility to our interior play. It's exciting to imagine the ways in which she will positively impact us on both sides of the ball."

The Pout, Thies, Senegal native helped the Spartans to a historic 2024-25 slate during her sophomore season, including a SoCon Tournament Championship and a trip to the 2025 NCAA Tournament. She saw action in 27 games and finished second on the team with 21 blocks. She also appeared in 12 contests during her freshman campaign.

N'Diaye attended Life Christian Academy in Florida and played for the S3 Academy team in Richmond, Virginia. During her senior year, she led the team in both rebounds and blocks. She also helped her Chicago Summer Jam team win the Battle of Borders Championship in 2022.
