Six Scarlet Knights Named CSCAA Scholar All-Amercians As Swimming & Diving Earns 22nd-Straight Team Academic Award

PISCATAWAY, N.J. – The Rutgers women's swimming and diving team was honored with its 22nd-straight College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Scholar All-American Team Award with one of the nation's top grade point averages. Additionally, six Scarlet Knights were bestowed CSCAA Scholar All-American.
Blanka Berecz, Sephora Ford, Holly Prasanto, Amelia Scott, Bailee Sturgill and Molly Urkiel each earned Scholar All-American accolades, having earned a GPA of 3.5 or higher and participated at the NCAA Championships, met a "B" time standard for the national championship or qualified for a diving zone qualification meet.
As a team, the Scarlet Knights boasted a 3.51 grade point average during the 2025 spring semester.
Eighteen members of the program received Dean's List recognition for registering a grade point average above a 3.5 while six Scarlet Knights wrapped up the spring with a perfect 4.0 semester GPA, including Orian Gablan, Grace Hagemaster, Katherine Lang, Halé Oal, Natalie Schick and Jade Smits.
To qualify for team recognition, teams had to earn a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 during the spring 2025 semester. Of the selected teams, including Rutgers, 763 squads achieved a GPA of 3.30 or above.
